# Staking $MORE

Are the hot griddle and complex ingredients of [borrow](/using-stack/borrow-usdmore.md) and [leverage](/using-stack/leverage-collateral.md) a little to much for you? If so, don't worry, the world still needs fry guys. Drop you assets in, pull them out and they're done. It's only one step, but absolutely necessary for a delicious meal and successful lending protocol.

You are important. You are valued. You can do the simple things...

\*\*\*

`$MORE` staking rewards (primarily the result [interest rates](/tokenomics/usdmore-+-usdsmore.md#interest-rates)) are an important function in the protocol's toolset to control `$MORE` supply. These rewards help the protocol increase demand for `$MORE` alleviating a potential depeg.

Staking rewards are generated from the various [fees](/tokenomics/fees.md) users pay to use Stack, 50% of which are allocated to `$MORE` staking rewards. Staking rewards are variable and change based on the current interest rate being charged by the protocol.

## Staking

Staking more couldn't be easier, just visit the "Stake" page of the site.

Staked `$MORE` is held as a separate token, `$sMORE`, which allows the holder to accrue the staking APR.

To stake `$MORE`, simply input how much `$MORE` you'd like to stake and confirm the transaction in the yellow button on the bottom.

Once the transaction completes, the user will be holding `$sMORE`. The `$sMORE` balance[^1] will increase daily to return the staking APY. Your staked balance (reflected in `$sMORE`) will display at the top of the page. Learn more about [$sMORE.](/tokenomics/usdmore-+-usdsmore.md#usdsmore)

### Unstake

To unstake, simply return to this staking page and select the "UNSTAKE" option on the right side of the box showing the staked balance.

Enter the amount of `$sMORE` you'd like to unstake and complete the transaction process in your wallet.

🍟

You've mastered staking. Your answer to "wen lambo" is probably never, but like every fry guy will tell you, they're critical to the team and are having fun 👍
